"We're hoping to succeed; we're okay with failure. We just don't want to land in between." -David Chang
He's serious. Lots of people say this, but few are willing to put themselves at risk, which destroys the likelihood of success and dramatically increases the chance of in between. Personally, I hate the "in between" – like taking a friend to the prom – no chance of that great kiss at the end of the evening. To me, that in between is failure. It is the purgatory of business. And I would venture to say that most of the time, landing in purgatory is merely the waiting room to hell. Ask any former owner of a mediocre restaurant that is no longer open.
Tribe members: take the risk, please, I implore you. I will reward you and congratulate you if you took the risk and failed. And if you succeed, you will be heroic here. Go for the gold medal. I have failed too many times to count, but I have never stopped trying to go big. Don’t be afraid.
At Cooperative Home Care we strive to succeed and to avoid the in between every day. Learn how we go above and beyond, and call our Intake Nurse Jessica at 1-800-HOMECARE (in MO) to schedule your free assessment today!
Carpe Diem!

P.S. David Chang is chef from Korea that has opened up numerous restaurants - none of which land in between. Google him.
